My Bio Farming 330 acres in East Yorkshire in partnership with my Father and Brother on our family farm. The Farm runs just short of 500 breeding ewes, mostly purebred lleyn with small flocks of Blue Texel and Charolais. In a mainly arable area we have a lot of permanent grassland, and also graze HLS grasses on a local estate. The arable area grows wheat and spring barley and the farm has a HLS agreement in place. The Business also undertakes Stock fencing, hedge and tree planting work alongside a rapidly expanding wood fuel business based primarily on hardwood logs. We aim to run a traditional family farm as a modern diversified business….. In reality we bumble our way through…..
