Mike Lee

My Bio Mike labours under various titles such as freelance consultant, director, agronomist, blogger and tweeter on all things associated with farming in Ukraine and Russia. He spent his formative years in the UK milking cows, feeding cattle, shearing sheep, lambing, fencing, driving tractors and chasing pigs. Once he opted out of hands on farming he spent far too many years lecturing agriculture at an agricultural college before becoming a consultant with the Scottish Agricultural College. Originally from Birkenhead he travelled and worked all over the former Soviet Union and now lives in Ukraine where he grows his family, oilseed rape, wheat, sunflowers, soya and maize. He supports Liverpool FC, is an occasional runner, lapsed fisherman and enjoys spending time with the kids when not driving around the extensive country that is Ukraine.
