More about me: Dave joined Bunge from college as a trainee trader in 1984. Seven years later he joined J. Dawson & Sons, a mid-sized family business in East Yorkshire, and became a member of its Board 10 years later. In 2002, Dave, together with 3 other Directors, acquired the business in a management buy-out and then bought the Viking Cereals Barmby Moor facility from its receivers. In 2004 Dave took over as CEO and sold the business to Nidera in 2009. Following an 18 month handover, Dave joined Maviga (a long time Dawson’s customer) to head up its N. European Special Crops business. |
