Breeder Agronomy Notes
Concerto x Quench
Chronicle is a spring malting variety with a very high yield potential, very good straw characteristics and resistance to disease. Chronicle is provisionally approved by the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD) for brewing and distilling.
Chronicle has good physical grain qualities with a high specific weight and very low levels of screenings. Chronicle has a high Hot Water Extract (HWE) and is a non-GN (Glycosidic Nitrile) producer making it highly suitable for both brewing and distilling. Chronicle has stiff straw of a similar straw length to Optic combined with very good lodging and brackling resistance.
