    REVIEW:

I have grown Beluga for four years and it has proved to be consistent and reliable. In 2012 as first and second wheat, it was the highest yielder, with bushel weights all over 72.
Stands well, with fairly short straw although it receives PGR, Disease resistance is on a par with other varieties, I think it's susceptibility to mildew, and tendency to sprout is overstated. Brown rust tends not be be a problem in this region. It is early - generally 6-7 days ahead of Robigus, Viscount or Grafton sown at similar dates.
Being sown mid Sept. as first wheat or early Oct. as second wheat suits it well.
